Part of my new series called “Acts of Small Repair.”

Painted and printed papers—torn, burned, and reassembled. Thread moves between structure and mark, holding while also revealing.

Revisiting it, I can see the beginnings of what I’m working through now—
layering, holding, fragments finding structure.

This image emerged slowly—through building, scraping, and reworking the surface.
A figure appeared, not planned, but uncovered.

I saw work yesterday that stayed with me.

Not as influence—but as recognition.

The way the surface could hold structure and still feel in motion—
not fixed to the wall, but shifting in space.

It clarified something I’ve been work
Torn, folded, stitched.

Not building an image—
holding a surface together.
