Encaustic Painting - Encaustic is a centuries old method of painting with molten beeswax or wax along with pigment resulting in luscious, vibrant colors. In this class we will explore various encaustic techniques including layering, fusing, incising, scraping, combining oil sticks with encaustic, combining encaustic and collage, safety issues and much more.
